COUNCIL 13300, OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL
Serving the St. Vincent de Paul Parish Community
Wildwood, FL & The Villages, FL
Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry Donations

Charity - 1st Degree

Charity begins at home.

The K of C was founded in 1882, by parish priest, Father Michael J. McGivney to give support and assistance to the families of the poor and especially those who had lost a loved one, the main financial support of the family.

The mission continues through our fund raising efforts that support our local Food Pantry, sponsored by our parish Outreach Program, our Soup Kitchen, that serve over 85,000 meals a year to the needy in our surrounding communities as well as helping Brother Knights in distress.

Here, Lecturer Jerry Pisani presented Tom Horning, Our Mother of Mercy Food Pantry and Donna Slider, Wildwood Soup Kitchen. They reviewed the many needs of their programs. (see attachment).
